Katherine M. Gilliland is board certified by American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has been with Cardiology and Vascular Associates since June of 2021. Previous experience in Internal Medicine and Wound Care. Special interest include: peripheral vascular disease, wound care and chronic disease management such as congestive heart failure as well as integrative medicine and lifestyle modification coaching to improve overall health. Educational background includes associate degree in nursing from Matlow State Community College, bachelor degree in nursing from Middle TN State University, master’s degree in nursing from University of Alabama in Huntsville and a fellowship in integrative medicine from University of Arizona.

Other interests include running, swimming, cycling, coaching soccer and serving on community boards for community improvement. 

Jennifer Slater NP, ACNPC-AG earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Middle Tennessee State University and a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She is board certified in Acute Care and Gerontological Nursing. She has been with Cardiology and Vascular Associates for 4 years. She is passionate about empowering patients to take control of their heart disease through education, diet, and exercise. She enjoys playing trivia and watching college sports with her husband in her spare time
